- Compliance officer creates Question templates for in-person audit and gets them approved
- The compliance officer creates an in-person audit for one or more Suppliers and chooses auditors at the Supplier level and assigns a planned end date or response due date.
- In-person auditors will physically visit appropriate Supplier locations and fill in the designated questions with answers. Auditors will also attach documentary proofs such as pictures taken from Supplier sites etc. along with the response.
- In addition to questions, auditors will also be able to provide additional comments and attachments
- The primary difference between Compliance Survey and an In-person audit lies in who answers the compliance-related questions:
- In the case of a Compliance Survey, a designated Compliance in-charge from the Suppliers submits the responses online through the Supplier Portal
- In case of an In-person audit, the auditor visits and submits the responses through the Buyer portal itself
