The purpose of Voice of Buyers is to enable ad-hoc and periodic collection of feedback on Supplier performance from appropriate people.
- All Survey Respondents will receive Email notifications with unique URL to respond to the Survey. Buyer portal Users will also receive in-app Bell notifications.
- All Survey Respondents can use the URLs in the Email notifications to respond to the Survey. Application Users can also respond using the Buyer portal.
- Responses can be collected by the Survey Owner (Vendor Master) who can review the responses and:
- Choose to edit responses with appropriate comments and reasons.
 
- Once all responses are reviewed and found to be correct, the Survey owner can close the Survey.
MeRLIN will prepare a Survey Score Card for every Supplier based on the Respondents’ responses.

Actions:
- View: View the Survey details.
- View Survey Results: View the responses provided by each respondent and the scores.
If you are viewing the results of the Survey you have created, you have the option to View and edit responses if required.
If you choose to edit the responses, you will need to provide the justifications for each of the modifications you make to the answer.
Once done submit it.
- View Approval Workflow History: View the approval workflow history of the Survey.
- Mark as Completed: Once the Survey is marked as completed, the respondents cannot further respond to the Survey.
- Change Response Due Date: Use this Action to change the response due date of the Survey.
- Close: Once the Survey is completed manually go and close the survey, after which it will be available under the Closed Voice of Buyer Surveys.
Create New Survey
- Provide the survey name and a detailed description, choose a survey template from the list, and select the response end date for the survey. 
- You will see the list of questions available for the selected template.  
- Configure the reminder days – Remind respondents who have not completed the survey, the evaluator will receive email reminders on the specified days before the survey response end date. 
- Choose the suppliers you would like to evaluate, use the advanced filters provided on the left side for supplier search. 
- Choose one or more respondents for the survey. You can also filter respondents based on user roles using the filters on the left side. 
- As you proceed, you can assign weightage to the scores for each of the previously selected respondents. 
- As you Continue, by default, all respondents are mapped to all suppliers. If you want to map respondents to only specific suppliers, you can select/unselect the suppliers under this tab. Click on Apply to Apply the changes.  
- Continue to the Documents tab, where you can add attachments to the Survey. 
- Now add the approvers, add new approval levels if required, and submit the survey for approval. Once all the approvers approve the survey, the survey gets automatically published to the respondents. Once all the approvers approve the survey, the survey gets automatically published to the respondents.
