All the documents awaiting your signature will be displayed here.
Sign the Document from the Buyer Portal
Choose Sign Document under Actions of a selected Active Authoring request.
The following screen appears. Click on NEXT to sign the document.
Also, under Action, you can assign the document to Someone else or Decline to Sign the document. To decline the document, provide the reason and comments.

Once you click on the NEXT, the Signature Set Up screen appears. Provide the initials and sign.

Now click on the X mark.

The Signature is now uploaded as shown:

Now click on the Submit button to complete the process.

The document now appears signed and can also be downloaded in the form of PDF if required.
Furthermore, you can move to the attachments tab and view existing documents and also add any documents if required.
Sign Document from Email
- Click on Sign Documents in the email you have received from MeRLIN.

- Review the details and click on Send me OTP.
- Provide the OTP you have received through email, and Confirm and Proceed.
- If Mobile OTP configuration is enabled you will we asked to enter the OTP received to further proceed and sign the document.
- Review the Authored Document and Click on Next. 
- Set up and Sign the document, you can also upload your signature if required. 
- Now click on the X mark. 
- The Signature is now uploaded as shown:

- Now click on the Submit button to complete the process. 
- The document now appears signed.
- You will receive the final signed copy of the document once all signatories complete their signature.
- Automated email notifications are sent to contract authors upon each signature and approval during the contract process
 
  
 
This ensures to keep contract authors informed of every key milestone, from intermediate approvals to final signatures, thereby reducing the need for manual tracking and promoting timely follow-ups
Assign to Someone Else for Signing

To assign to someone else, choose the Signatory User Type. For Application User, choose the user from the list and Submit the form. If the document needs to be signed by the Non-Application user, provide the use details and submit the form.
Choose Assign to Someone else- Actions of a selected Active Authoring request as shown.

Note: Application users can be assigned to both Application and Non-Application Users, but the Non-Application users can be assigned to only Non-Application Users.
