The child categories can inherit the properties defined for the parent category, given that the parent category property is made inheritable at the time of creating the property.
1. To inherit the property of the parent, Click on Action as shown and then choose Inherit Property.
2. A pop up window appears.
3. Check the inherit option against the property you would like to inherit and then save the form.
4. Now click on either Go To Change Log to land on the Change log tab or click on the continue button to move to the adjacent tab.
5. Click on the continue button to move to the approval screen as shown. Select the approver and submit the changes you have created for approval.
